Birra Antoniana Scudata is one of the most famous creations of Birrificio Antoniano, an agricultural brewery located in Ronchi di Villafranca Padovana, near Padua.

This beer was born with a strong local identity. The name “Scudata” (meaning “shielded”) and the label itself pay tribute to the city of Padua. They reference the shield of the city’s coat of arms, the colours of the local football team, and the silhouette of the historic Palazzo della Ragione.
